Stage 1:

The meticulous process begins with a gentle hamering to shape an unbreakable solid brass core.

Stage 2:

Then an intricate design is formed using a precise copper wire netting.

Stage 3:

Next, chosen colours of enamel are bonded to the core and fired in the kiln. The fire process hardens the finish and smooths the finish to the core.

Stage 4:

This step is repeated several times to enhance the beauty and durability of the design. The hand laid enamel is unique to each urn.

Stage 5:
The urn is then gently hand-scored and polished for a smooth surface further exposing the fine copper / bronze wire accentuating the overall appearance.

Stage 6:

Lastly, the urn is gilded to protect the brass from rust, as well as to create a lasting and bright shining finish. These urns are all individually unique and of fine quality.
